I quickly realized that a unit with sufficient capacity was prohibitively expensive, which made me consider building one myself.

In theory it seemed simple – a high-pressure pump, an RO membrane, a high-pressure housing, a needle valve and some fittings. But in practice it was a different story. Buying the parts piece by piece at reasonable prices was almost impossible. To make ends meet, I needed to buy whole batches of components.

Despite the challenges, I decided to take the plunge. I looked for quality components, tested different solutions, and invested both time and money – more than I had initially anticipated. But in the end, I managed to create a really good product and establish partnerships with reliable suppliers.

 

Thus was born "Mabben" – MAB Watermaker.

 

And that's the way it is!
